I was out again this morning. Sadly, the black flies are out, but not yet biting. Hope their stay is brief!

I got a fews more images of our residents here, and also shot some audio and video.

First, the pictures!

As I was setting up, I saw a  group of birds flying high overhead. A quick grab with motor drive gave me this image. I think it's a group of cormorants.

Later, as I was taking pictures by the pond, a pair of curious orioles came to see what I was doing.

My mystery bird returned and decided to pose this time. My friend Andy, a serious birder, though this guy was a flycatcher (based on yesterday's image). Least flycatcher?

A new mystery bird. I haven't had time to check the field guide yet .....Update: it's a female red winged blackbird!
